Athletics and Recreation

Elementary, middle, and high school athletic programs are supervised and led by certified coaches, licensed teachers or knowledgeable staff who emphasize skill development, participation, teamwork, and respect for others.

Intramurals: Community Education offers low cost, high quality after school recreational opportunities for elementary students. Programs offered this year include: soccer, dodgeball/volleyball, floor hockey, basketball, and spring activities (variety of games). Intramurals are a chance for kids to learn some basic fundamental skills in each sport and also meet new friends.

Middle School Athletics:
Community Education Middle School Athletics/Recreation Program provides 6th (track & wrestling and all recreational offerings), 7th and 8th grade students an opportunity to participate in a variety of seasonal sports and recreational activities. These programs emphasize skill development and team play. Students are instructed in the fundamentals of the sport and participate in a number of games with surrounding schools within the conference. Competitive Sports include: football, volleyball, boys' basketball, wrestling, and track. Recreational Sports include: downhill ski/snowboarding club, golf and running club.

Camps and Clinics:
 Camps and Clinics offer year-round athletic and recreational opportunities to students in grades K-12. Activities include volleyball, golf, basketball, football and more!

Gymnastics: We offer classes for girls and boys ages 18 months - 18 years old. It is our goal to teach in a positive, fun and safe environment. Through gymnastics, we strive to develop self-esteem and physical fitness. Our program is suited for recreational, developmental and competitive gymnasts. We offer classes at East Ridge, Park and Woodbury high schools.
Activity Centers: spaces inside District 833 high school’s and various middle school’s, that include an indoor track and sports court for community use.Available for
