COVID-19 Communications Protocol

South Washington County Schools works closely with the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and the Washington County Department of Health to determine action steps for a reported case of COVID-19. Guidance from local and state health officials will determine if communications are needed to an individual, a classroom, program participants, athletics teams/pods or a whole building. All communications related to COVID-19 will be managed by the Office of Communications. The following guidelines are subject to change depending on individual cases and guidance from MDH.

If you have any questions about COVID-19 communications, contact Pepe Barton, Director of Communications at 651-425-6209 or pbarton1@sowashco.org. Please review the COVID-19 Positive Case Protocol.
