Community Education Advisory Council

The Community Education Advisory Council (CEAC) is made up of appointed program representatives and at-large members from each of the communities within District 833. The Council’s role is to help identify, coordinate and evaluate educational opportunities for district residents of all ages. The Council meets 4-6 times each year and all meetings are open to the public.

Kids Club Advisory Council 

2017-18 Kids Club Parent Advisory Council will meet two times this year to discuss current and upcoming program initiatives. Our council has been instrumental in forming new ideas in communication, enrollment processes, marketing and quality programming.

The council is made up of a couple of representatives from each of our groups. Meetings are open to the public. Meetings this school year will take place at Middleton Elementary in the media center from 6:45-8:45 pm on November 21 & February 27 with an optional third meeting to be announced if we feel we have additional work we wish to accomplish.

ECFE/School Readiness Advisory Council 

The ECFE/School Readiness Advisory council is a group of parent volunteers and community members that support the mission of School District 833's Early Childhood Family Education and School Readiness programming through:

  1. Contributing recommendations for program policies, goals, objectives and programs.
  2. Advocating for ECFE and School Readiness in the district community and the Minnesota legislature.
  3. Promoting the program through outreach events and community relation activities.
  4. Volunteer recruitment to support and enhance programming.
  5. Generating funding and other resource support to enrich program offerings for families and children.

Senior Center Advisory Council 

The Senior Center Advisory Council meets annually in December, and discusses future programming and volunteer needs. Any member of the Senior Center is invited to participate. For more information, please contact the Senior Center directly at 651-425-6650.
