Early Learners

ECFE New Parent Connection for parents
As a new parent, you may have questions about how to support your baby's development and well-being, as well as adjust to new routines while taking care of yourself! 

ECFE Virtual Parent Consultations

Connect with a Licensed Parent Educator to receive information on; supporting children's emotional well-being, parent self-care, community resources and more. 

ECFE Zoom Parent Weekly Together Sessions for parents
Connect with other parents to discuss the challenges of social distancing with children and how to support their emotional well-being during these unprecedented times.

Flatten Your Curve 5K Run/Walk

Join South Washington County Schools Community Education in our first ever Virtual 5K!
The ‘Flatten Your Curve’ virtual fun run is a great way to stay fit and keep your family physically active, all while practicing social distancing! In addition to the good vibes you’ll be feeling from a great stroll, walk or run, you’ll also be feeling good that a portion of your registration fee will be donated to our Youth Financial Assistance, helping meet the needs of local students who want to participate in activities such as swimming lessons, driver’s education, S.T.E.M. programming and more.
Registration includes entry to the 5K run/walk, t-shirt, finisher medal and donation to our Youth Financial Assistance fund.

Free Opportunities

Junior Achievement is now providing free online resources for teachers and parents to keep our children engaged, inspired, and educationally challenged. 

Monica J. Sutton is an early childhood educator with over 18 years experience. She offers children's lessons, children's programming, and talks about child behavior. If your household is looking for a racial mirror in the classroom for your child, or you just want to supplement what you've been doing in our ECFE program, she is a great resource!
