FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS CONCERNING COVID-19 CANCELLATIONS FOR COMMUNITY EDUCATION CLASSES AND ACTIVITIES

Q: 
Are you going to automatically re-enroll me in the enrichment class/activity that was cancelled?
A: No. You will have to re-register for a class/activity that was cancelled.

Q:
Is the Senior Center Open?
A: No. The Senior Center located at the District Program Center is closed until further notice. However, we are accepting Foot Care appointments. Please call to schedule in advance. 

Q:
Are the AARP tax appointments cancelled?
A: Yes. Tax appointments through AARP are cancelled until further notice.

Q:
Are Activity Centers open?
A: Activity Centers are closed for the 2020-21 season.

Q: I am interested in receiving free meals for my child. How do I sign up?
A: 
Please visit the District website to get more information on receiving free meals. 

Q: I am Looking for resources for my family. Where can I find these?
A:
District 833 is compiling a list of resources for families to utilize during this time. You can view them here.  
 

Other Important Information

  • Home and hospital visits through our Early Learning program are suspended until further notice.
  • In our efforts to continually bring you the utmost ease of registration as possible, we have modified our payment process for our Youth and Adult enrichment registrations.

    Past registrations took payment for the class at the time of check-out. Moving forward, when you sign-up for an enrichment class, you will only be billed should the class run. A charge will be placed on your card one week prior to the class start date. Should the class need to cancel, you will be notified.
