My class was part of a session (driver’s ed, swimming, gymnastics, etc..), will it be made up?
A: For class sessions that fall into the window of closure (March 16 - May 17), the entire session will be cancelled. We are working hard to provide you with answers on whether or not these will be rescheduled, but again, information changes very rapidly and currently we are unable to answer that. Thank you for your patience with us.

Driver's Education update: Safeway, our partner in providing safe and educational driver's safety, has been granted a variance from the State of Minnesota and is now able to offer classroom training sessions online. Classes begin April 20 for students who were originally scheduled for our March, April and May classes. Please register here. 

Are you going to automatically re-enroll me in the enrichment class/activity that was cancelled?
A: No. You will have to re-register for a class/activity that was cancelled.

Do you have any information regarding classes or activities beyond May 17?
A: No. We do not have any information beyond May 17 at this time. We will keep up our website updated with the latest information as we have it and will communicate with you as we make decisions regarding operations and procedures in the following weeks. 

Is the Senior Center Open?
A: No. The Senior Center located at the District Program Center is closed until further notice.

Are the AARP tax appointments cancelled?
A: Yes. Tax appointments through AARP are cancelled until further notice.

Are screening appointments still happening?
A: Screening appointments are currently cancelled through May 17.

Are Activity Centers open?
A: Activity Centers are closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 season.

Q: When can I expect a refund and/or credit voucher?
A: If you had a class, activity or session between the timeframe of March 16 - May 17, we are currently working on processing refunds and/or credit vouchers. You will receive an email from us when this is completed. Thank you for patience as we work to complete them.

Q: I need Child Care. Where can I go?
At this time South Washington County Schools is opening child care at no cost to families who qualify. Emergency Child Care is open to currently enrolled students in Kindergarten-grade 5 for parents or guardians who are defined as an emergency responder that is crucial to the prevention and treatment of COVID-19. Q: I am interested in receiving free meals for my child. How do I sign up?

Q: I am Looking for resources for my family. Where can I find these?
District 833 is compiling a list of resources for families to utilize during this time. You can view them here.  

Other Important Information

  • Home and hospital visits through our Early Learning program are suspended until further notice.
  • Early Learning's Spring Fest has been cancelled.
  • Adult Enrichment's Marketplace of Learning has been cancelled.
  • The Youth Financial Assistance Fundraiser, the Very Important Person Ball has been cancelled.
  • School year 20/21 Kids Club enrollment sessions previously scheduled for April 6 and April 27 have been postponed. New dates have been announced here.
  • In our efforts to continually bring you the utmost ease of registration as possible, we have modified our payment process for our Youth and Adult enrichment registrations.

    Past registrations took payment for the class at the time of check-out. Moving forward, when you sign-up for an enrichment class, you will only be billed should the class run. A charge will be placed on your card one week prior to the class start date. Should the class need to cancel, you will be notified.
